Message from the Director
Welcome to the SDSU School of Theatre, Television, and Film!
Here in the TTF, our students work with exciting faculty in state-of-the-art facilities. Students are supported in a wide range of creative and scholarly endeavors that provide an important bridge from academic study to the professional world, and they have many opportunities to apply their learning outside the classroom.
The highly skilled professors who teach our classes exemplify the artist / scholar / teacher model that is so valued at SDSU — this means that the TTF’s professors are professionally active while still strongly invested in the growth of our students and in maintaining a high level of academic achievement.
The TTF’s mission is for our students to develop sharp critical thinking skills while getting experience in a range of applied, pre-professional practices. In other words, our students work collaboratively in the “real world” long before they graduate. The result: You can find current TTF students and recent alumni working in arts and entertainment positions throughout Southern California and far beyond.
The School provides transformative, experiential learning that prepares students to launch creative careers.
I hope you’ll come be a part of the TTF.
