General Theatre Arts Program


Course Requirements for the Undergraduate Catalog


The Theatre Arts major is an impacted program. To be advanced from the pre-major into the Theatre Arts major, students must meet the following requirements:

  • THEA 100, 120, 130, and TFM 160 must be completed with a grade of C or higher. These courses may not be taken for credit/no credit (C/NC).
  • Students need to have a cumulative GPA of 2.4 or higher.

Check for prerequisites before registering for classes. You must have completed the prerequisites for the course you are registering for, or have completed the equivalent of the prerequisite from another school if you are a transfer student.

__ Graduation Writing Assessment Requirement:  Passing the Writing Proficiency Assessment with a score of 10 or above, or Rhetoric and Writing 305W or 500W with a grade of C or better.
