Bio
Ralph Blanchard is a filmmaker with a diverse career that spans narrative film, reality TV, and higher education. He holds a BA in Film from California State University Monterey Bay, and an MFA from San Diego State University. At SDSU, Ralph serves as a lecturer, specializing in the emotional resonance of various film genres. He also works as an Instructional Media Support Technician for OneIT, where he assists faculty with educational technology. Ralph’s passion for storytelling and media creation is evident in his collaborations with other filmmakers in the San Diego community and his involvement in several indie film projects, both behind and in front of the camera. Outside of his professional work, he enjoys collage art, retro gaming, and old-school web design.
