The Theatre Arts major is an impacted program. To be advanced from the pre-major into the Design for TV & Film major students must complete the following requirements:

  • Theatre 100, 120,  240, and TFM 160 with a grade of C or higher
  • A minimum of 30 transferable semester units
  • A cumulative GPA of 2.4 or higher.
  • Submit a portfolio of design work (see undergraduate design advisor for details).

Check for prerequisites before registering for classes.  You must have completed the prerequisites for the course for which you are registering, or have completed the equivalent of the prerequisite from another school if you are a transfer student.
